To apply for the RRB Group D 2025 recruitment, follow the step-by-step process outlined below
1. Registration:
Visit the Official Website: Navigate to the official Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) website corresponding to your region.
New Registration: Click on the “New Registration” link associated with the CEN-08/2024 Group D (Level-1) recruitment.
Provide Basic Details: Enter essential information such as your name, date of birth, email address, and mobile number. Ensure that these details match your official documents.
Receive Registration ID: Upon successful registration, you’ll receive a unique Registration ID and password via email or SMS.
2. Filling the Application Form:
Login: Use the Registration ID and password to log in to the RRB application portal.
Personal Details: Fill in your personal information, including father’s and mother’s names, gender, nationality, and category (e.g., SC/ST/OBC/EWS).
Educational Qualifications: Provide details of your academic background, such as the name of the institution, year of passing, and percentage/grade obtained.
Preference for Posts: Indicate your preferences for the posts available under Group D.
Examination Language: Choose your preferred language for the Computer Based Test (CBT).
3. Uploading Documents:
Photograph: Upload a recent passport-sized color photograph with dimensions 35mm x 45mm, scanned at 100 DPI, in JPG/JPEG format, and between 15-40 KB in size.
Signature: Upload a clear scan of your signature in black ink on white paper, in JPG/JPEG format, and between 10-20 KB in size.
Category Certificate (if applicable): Upload scanned copies of your SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS certificates in JPG/JPEG format, between 50-100 KB in size.
4. Payment of Application Fee:
Fee Details:
- General/OBC Candidates: INR 500 (INR 400 will be refunded upon appearing in the CBT).
- SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Female/Transgender/Minorities/Economically Backward Class (EBC): INR 250 (fully refundable upon appearing in the CBT).
Payment Mode: Pay the application fee online using internet banking, debit/credit cards, or UPI.
5. Final Submission:
Review Details: Carefully verify all the information and uploaded documents to ensure accuracy.
Submit Application: After confirmation, submit the application form.
Print Confirmation: Download and print the confirmation page for future reference.
Important Dates:
Application Deadline: The last date to submit the application is 1st March 2025 (11:59 PM).
Fee Payment Deadline: The last date to pay the application fee is 3rd March 2025 (11:59 PM).
Correction Window: Modifications to the application can be made between 4th March 2025 and 13th March 2025 (11:59 PM).
Ensure that you complete each step carefully and submit the application before the specified deadlines.
Instructions for Online Application Form
1. Preparation Before Applying:
Before starting the online application, ensure you have the following:
a) Photograph: A recent scanned color passport-size photograph with the date it was taken printed on it. The photo should be no more than three months old from the date of notification publication. It should be in JPEG format (20 KB to 50 KB) with dimensions of approximately 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height). The photograph must be clear, without a cap or spectacles, and both ears should be visible. Blurred photos or those without a printed date will not be accepted.
b) Signature: A scanned copy of your signature in JPEG format (10 KB to 20 KB) with dimensions of about 4.0 cm (width) x 2.0 cm (height). Ensure the signature is clear and legible; otherwise, the application may be rejected.
2. Filling Out the Application Form:
- Read all instructions carefully before proceeding.
- Click the “Continue” button to open the application form.
- Some fields will be pre-filled based on your registration details. Complete the remaining fields accurately.
3. Saving and Reviewing the Application:
- After entering all the required details, you will see two options: Save & Preview and Close.
- Clicking Close will exit the form without saving any entered data.
- Clicking Save & Preview will allow you to review your application. If any changes are needed, use the Edit button before final submission.
4. Uploading Documents:
- Upload your scanned passport-size photograph (as per the specifications in Step 1a).
- Upload your scanned signature (as per the specifications in Step 1b).
- Upload scanned copies of your Birth Certificate, Matriculation Certificate, and Domicile Certificate as proof of age, educational qualification, and residence (file size should not exceed 1 MB).
- Verify the uploaded documents using the View button before final submission.
5. Payment of Fees:
- If you are exempted from the examination fee, you will see a message confirming your exemption and an option to print your application.
- If a fee is required, proceed with payment using UPI, Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card, or by generating an SBI Challan.
- For the SBI Challan option, download the challan and deposit the fee at the nearest State Bank of India (SBI) branch. The bank will process your payment within 48 hours, after which you can check your application status.
6. Final Steps:
- After payment, take a printout of your submitted application form for future reference.
